Cath Farman and Chris Wilson are at last planning their wedding, but they have other plans: Cath and her dance partner, David Armstrong, are in training for the World Ballroom Dancing Championship in Oslo, and Chris has started training with his new dance partner, Jessica Waddington, and she too is planning, you see, she loves Chris and wants to be far more to him than a dance partner!
 

Chris is a high flying young executive in a stressful job, too stressful, it’s making him ill.  His boss, Vince, has an idea that he is sure will help make life better for Chris, it’s an idea that Chris really doesn’t like, but Jessica does!  And Chris finds his future starts to change radically, and it feels very wrong – the change is brought about by someone that was part of Chris’s past, someone that is destined to become part of his future.
 

Dance crazy Cath is worried about her dancing career: their sponsor has let them down, the new one is an un-likable billionaire.  Her dancing starts to take over, but what about the wedding, and what about Chris?  And what about the scheming, secretive and powerful billionaire?  
 

Virginia Northolt is a new teacher at the dance school that Chris and Jessica train at.  She finds herself having to make Simon Crewe, a senior partner in the business, see that he has to change his ways after he argues with Chris, but how can she make the crusty old divorcee see sense?
 

Dance teachers Alex and Chaz agree about everything, except dancing!  Their arguments are so bad that Alex starts to consider divorce.  Chaz has some tough choices, Alex doubts he will make the right decision and is determined to be respected and doubts her love will be enough to keep them  together.
 

Can love survive the stranglehold of ambition, jealousy, financial problems and so much more?  What happens when a great idea that’s supposed to help turns into a disaster?  What happens when what you thought was history suddenly threatens to become your future?  What happens to your plans to dance in the World Championship when someone is hell bent on wrecking everything?  What happens to love when very different careers and thousands of miles divide you?
